Myths and Logic's of GRE -1

Well How many of you guys know that the questions in GRE are of different levels? Hey buds back with a small topic!
Well yes, they do! Ever wondered how GRE score is being interpreted? I heard a lot about this myth:

The first 10 questions are the score-determining one's! haven't you heard of it?
Well i always wanted know if it was true or not? I had no option but to check my own gre score interpretation which in turn gave me an excellent in-through of what exactly gre works like!
The above is not a myth! it's pure logic!
Let's see it this way, having an imagination that GRE Questions are based on 5levels
The GRE is an test which has an unlimited amount of DATABASE, in terms of layman it's a huge collection of questions that could come up on your screen. So you can't rely on the myth : this month's questions are gonna repeat.
This is a serious myth that has to be avoided, i took my test on September 29th 2009, i read all the databases from June 2009. Yet i was shocked that no question repeated in VERBAL. My heart sank down deep into the sea , i wanted to kill that guy who posted all the DATABASE questions. (i agree 3 questions from Quant were in, even then)
Logic: When you keep twisting the Cube(of different colors) how much probability is that you complete it, at least one one side of it?

Ever tried it? let us take that there are 10 different blocks over there, so there is just one chance that a side of block matches its color( just considering the side not the whole cuboid)
So the prob is 1/10. so one out of 10 and hence is the similar situation with the GRE, you get a 3 out of 30 or 2 out of 28.... you guys keep dirtying your hands with such a less probability? :) think over it!

Coming back to the levels:
          In the case of GRE, there we assumed that 5 levels of questions are available right?
So here comes our first Q
-> Level 3
->same level
.......... it repeats! So you might ask, dosen't the level change? yes it does
For eg: when you answer a level 3 question wrong, the GRE takes you to a low level question. Here goes your score down.
So yes! the first few questions do effect, as the higher the level transition the higher is your score! its not a myth, it's a general perception of many test takers!

So as and when you keep answering the lower level questions right, damn the level increases! hence the last few questions to the people who scored 800 is gonna be a bit tough! (even i got a tough DI). Hence keep an eye on the first few questions and get the level increased! :)
This is the same case with the VERBAL, but in this case there could be a small flaw lemme go through it.
A GRE database developer feels a few words tougher (which we feel are very easy) :)
Here comes a bit of difference! So take care guys!
I' am off to the coll pals, so will update in the evening!
